Writer's Detective School - GIFT CERTIFICATE
Course Summary
The Writer's Detective School is a chance for fiction-authors and screenwriters to experience what it's like to work a homicide investigation first-hand.
This four-to-six week course will primarily consist of weekly live Zoom calls, where students will make decisions on how to proceed with our homicide investigation. The course also includes pre-recorded lessons that coincide with various stages of our investigation, writing assignments related to the case, and Office Hours (also via Zoom) to get help with any questions the students may have about their own fiction-writing/works-in-progress.
All of the live Zoom sessions are recorded and will be made available for replay. Attending the Zoom calls live is not required to complete the cohort, however, it certainly enhances the experience. The Zoom calls will occur at various days/times to allow for students in different times zones around the world a chance to catch a live call during daylight hours.

Adam spent seventeen of his twenty-five year (and counting) law enforcement career as a police detective in California. Adam has taught hundreds of new detectives for the California Department of Justice and spent over a decade as an adjunct faculty member at a local college. He holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University in Vocational Teaching and Management. He also is the host of the Writer's Detective Bureau podcast and YouTube channel.
